Paper Plane is designed to be a relaxing, mindful visual odyssey. We prioritize your privacy so you can focus on the skies. Your gameplay data—including your highest scores in Challenge Mode and your preferences in Zen Mode—is stored locally on your device. We do not require you to create an account or provide personal identification to take flight.
ShekTech ("we," "us," or "our") built the Paper Plane app as a Free game. This SERVICE is provided by ShekTech at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to play our game.
Information Collection and Use
While using our Service, we do not require you to provide us with directly identifiable personal information (like your name or email) to play the core game. However, the app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device, track crashes, or provide necessary backend services for cross-platform availability (iOS and Android).
Game Save Data and Local Progress
Paper Plane features offline play capabilities. Your game progression and highest distances traveled are processed and saved locally on your device. We do not transmit, collect, or store this localized gameplay data on external servers unless you explicitly utilize a cloud-save feature provided natively by your respective platform (e.g., Google Play Games or Apple Game Center).
Advertising (Google AdMob)
To keep Paper Plane free for everyone to enjoy, we use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the app. AdMob may use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), and other technologies to collect data about your interactions with the game and other apps on your device in order to provide personalized advertising.
Tracking and Advertising Options (iOS & Android)
Depending on your device and location, you have choices regarding personalized advertising:
- iOS Users: Under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, you will be prompted to grant permission before we can track your activity across other companies' apps and websites for targeted advertising. You can change your preference at any time in your iOS Settings > Privacy > Tracking.
- Android Users: You can opt out of personalized ads by navigating to your device's Settings > Google > Ads, and selecting "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or "Delete advertising ID."
- EU/UK/EEA Users (GDPR): If you are located in a region governed by GDPR or similar data protection regulations, you will be presented with a consent form upon launching the app, allowing you to choose whether to accept personalized or non-personalized ads.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide you with our Service and for legitimate business purposes.
How to delete your data: Because your gameplay progression is stored locally on your device, you can delete this data at any time simply by uninstalling the Paper Plane app or clearing the app's cache and data in your device's system settings. Children's Privacy
Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take the necessary actions.
Log Data and Security
Whenever you use our Service, in the case of an error or crash in the game, we may collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This may include your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, and the time and date of your use. We strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting your data, but remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features, environments, or updates. As we continue to develop Paper Plane, we may introduce optional features in the future, such as in-app purchases (e.g., the ability to remove ads). If our data collection or payment processing practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and notify you by posting the new policy on this page.
