ShekTech ("we," "us," or "our") built the Adhikar AI app as a Freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by ShekTech at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, track performance, or provide necessary backend services for cross-platform availability.
AI Assistant and Chat Queries
Our app features "Adhikar AI," a personal legal assistant. When you type and submit queries to the AI, the text of your queries may be transmitted to our secure third-party AI service providers to generate a response. We strongly advise users not to share sensitive personal information (such as Aadhaar numbers, bank details, or specific names involved in ongoing legal disputes) within the chat feature. Queries are processed solely for the purpose of generating educational responses and are not used to identify you personally.
RTI Form Generation and Local Data
Our app includes tools to help you generate Right to Information (RTI) application PDFs. Any personal information you enter into the RTI Smart Wizard (such as your name, address, or query details) is processed locally on your device to generate the document. We do not transmit, collect, or store this form data on our external servers. Your generated PDFs and offline progress (such as gamified learning streaks and points) remain securely on your personal device.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide you with our Service and for legitimate and essential business purposes, such as maintaining the performance of the app, complying with our legal obligations, and resolving disputes.
How to delete your data: Because most app data (such as offline learning streaks, gamified progress, and locally generated RTI PDF forms) is stored locally on your device, you can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the Adhikar AI app or clearing the app's data in your device settings. Chat queries sent to our AI assistant are processed in real-time and are not permanently linked to your personal identity. Children's Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the app. AdMob may use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), and other technologies to collect data about your interactions with the app and other apps on your device in order to provide personalized advertising. You can opt-out of personalized advertising by visiting your device's respective privacy settings and managing your ad preferences.
Tracking and Advertising Options (iOS & Android)
Depending on your device and location, you have choices regarding personalized advertising:
- iOS Users: Under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, you will be prompted to grant permission before we can track your activity across other companies' apps and websites for targeted advertising. You can change your preference at any time in your iOS Settings > Privacy > Tracking.
- Android Users: You can opt out of personalized ads by navigating to your device's Settings > Google > Ads, and selecting "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or "Delete advertising ID."
- EU/UK/EEA Users (GDPR): If you are located in a region governed by GDPR or similar data protection regulations, you will be presented with a consent form upon launching the app, allowing you to choose whether to accept personalized or non-personalized ads.
In-App Purchases
Our app offers in-app purchases. All payments and transactions are handled directly by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We do not collect, process, or store any of your financial information, such as credit card numbers or banking details. Your transaction history is governed by the privacy policies of the respective app stores.
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics to help us fix bugs and improve performance.
Security
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
